HERE YOU’LL FIND THE LATEST NEWS AND STORIES.
I’m starting this section with a very special painting from one of Freeport’s finest artists, Sheldon Saint. A deeply spiritual man, Sheldon was born and raised in The Bahamas and has become one of Grand Bahama’s leading artistic voices. A self-described cultural ambassador he is committed, in his words, to elevating Bahamian art on the world stage. He says “I paint to preserve the beauty of my people”.
SEE ONE DERE
“See One Dere” is Sheldon’s latest work and features four little boys looking into the ocean, searching for fish. It’s a charming work that calls to mind the innocence of childhood, a Bahamian story told in stunning watercolor.
You can discover more of Sheldon’s work at sheldonsaint.com or on FaceBook at Sheldon Saint Studio.
